How are rankings calculated?

Player rankings use the ELO rating system, which calculates player skill based on game outcomes against other rated players.

• All players start with a rating of 1500
• Defeating higher-rated players gives more points
• Losing to lower-rated players costs more points
• Only tournament matches affect ratings
